3rd Grade Swimming
We will be talking with all the 3rd grade students together about swimming on Monday. Swimming will be the week of October 21st-October 25th in the morning. Please read Mr. Pfahler’s letter about swimming, and return the permission slip as soon as possible. Swimming is a grade, and all students are expected to participate. We normally do our swim unit in the spring, but due to some busing issues, we are doing it earlier this year. Please let me know if you have any additional questions. 
Laps for Lincoln
Keep bringing in those donations! Our classes have been working super hard to earn money for our school. As their teacher, I am so appreciative of the money that PTO raises, as it helps pay for things in our classroom that I normally have to pay out of my pocket. I am so grateful for this wonderful fundraiser. 
Homework

We still have a lot of students forgetting to get their homework signed and returned to school. We are really just wanting to check in with your child, and make sure they are doing some reading at home. Keep reminding them to read, and get their sheet signed and returned on Mondays.
Notes
Thank you for continuing to send in healthy snacks for your student. We do a formal snack in the morning and then a working snack in the afternoon if they want it.
